4月、香川県の 第86番札所・志度寺 にて、有志の会員でお接待をさせていただきました。

お寺の一画をお借りし、机や椅子も貸していただけたおかげで準備はスムーズに進みました。

お土産うどんや地図、お菓子、お茶をご用意し、志度寺へお参りに来られた皆さまに、休憩していただける場をつくりました。

ゴールデンウィークということもあり、境内は多くの参拝者で賑わっていました。近県から旅行を兼ねて訪れる方、テレビを観て「平賀源内記念館」と合わせて来られた方、また「もうすぐ結願なんです」と嬉しそうに話すお遍路さんの姿も。日本の方だけでなく、海外からの巡礼者にもたくさんお会いしました。

お天気にも恵まれ、気がつけばあっという間の数時間。最後には志度寺さんのご厚意で、寺院内を散策させていただく機会もあり、心に残るひとときになりました。

お接待をしているのはこちら側のはずなのに、気づけば多くの「ありがとう」をいただいていた一日。

香川県の東部は、今年開催された 瀬戸内国際芸術祭 の会場の一部にもなっています。

4月，我们在香川县第86番札所・志度寺举办了“四国巡礼的接待”志愿活动。
由于志度寺不仅借给了我们活动地方，还提供了桌子和椅子，所以准备工作非常顺利。非常感谢！

我们安排了讃岐乌冬面小礼物、四国八十八寺庙的地图、点心和茶，为来到志度寺参拜的人们提供一个可以休息的地方。

那天正值黄金周，参拜的人很多，寺院里非常热闹。
有人从附近县来旅游顺便参拜，也有人因为看了日本大河时代剧电视节目，想和“平贺源内纪念馆”一起参观。
也有巡礼者高兴地说：“快要完成八十八所的巡礼了。”
不仅是日本人，我们也遇到了很多来自国外的巡礼者。

天气很好，时间过得特别快。
最后，在志度寺的好意下，我们也能在寺院内散步，度过了很难忘的时光。

本来是我们四国有“接待文化”，但回头看，我们反而收到了大家许多温暖的“谢谢”。
另外，香川县东边的地方也是今年举办的濑户内国际艺术祭的会场。

In April, our volunteer members offered osettai—traditional hospitality—at Shido-ji Temple, the 86th temple of the Shikoku Pilgrimage, located in Kagawa Prefecture. The temple kindly lent us a space along with tables and chairs, which made our preparations go smoothly.

We prepared local souvenir udon noodles, maps, snacks, and tea so that visitors coming to Shido-ji could take a moment to rest.

As it was during the Golden Week holidays, the temple grounds were lively with many visitors. Some came from nearby prefectures as part of their trip, others visited after seeing Shido-ji featured on TV together with the Hiraga Gennai Museum, and still others told us happily that they were “almost at the end of the pilgrimage.” We also met not only Japanese pilgrims but many from overseas as well.

Blessed with beautiful weather, the hours passed by in no time. At the end of the day, Shido-ji kindly allowed us to stroll through the temple grounds, which made for a memorable experience. Although we were the ones offering osettai, we found ourselves receiving many words of gratitude throughout the day.

The eastern region of Kagawa is also one of the venues for this year’s Setouchi Triennale.
